Thank you for joining us virtually this past Saturday, October 9th during our semi-annual Cash for College event. The Mt. SAC Financial Aid Office and campus community is grateful to have been given the opportunity to host you, your family, and friends. We hope that the information you received and were presented with assisted you in completing and submitting your financial aid application. The Mt. SAC Financial Aid Office is committed to support our students and their families prepare for college by providing financial aid application resources and assistance. We hope to provide you resources about Federal and State financial aid to help make education beyond high school attainable.

This recording of our Saturday, February 12, 2022 Cash for College event provides you with the information to get FREE help filling out your 2022-2023 financial aid application! High school seniors and/or parents are encouraged to view this recording to obtain assistance with completing the FREE Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the California Dream Act Application.

By his video will walk you through the process of creating your own FSA ID. An FSA ID is simply a username and password combination, which can be used to securely log in to U.S. Department of Education websites like https://fafsa.gov. If you plan to fill out the FAFSA when it becomes available in October, you (and your parent if you're a dependent student) should create an FSA ID ASAP.
Completing the FAFSA (FAFSA applicants only)
This worksheet will walk you through how to prepare for completing the FAFSA. It highlights the documents you should gather, how to create an FSA ID, and how to fill out and sign and submit your application. We recommend that you and a parent, if you are required to provide parental information, create an FSA ID before the event.

The DREAM application is unique to California promoting access to all students regardless of immigration statues and/or documentation. If you will be completing a CA Dream Act Application, this document will explore ten important things you should know about the application before you get started.

Resource Fair Quick Links
The Cash for College Resource Fair is intended to provide an opportunity for students to ask questions and engage in dialogue with the various departments that offer their services to students. The fair focuses on helping students connect with the campus and provide them with the support, knowledge and encouragement to be successful members of the Mt. SAC community.
